Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Cancellation in Case of Visa Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in Australia but unfortunately your visa application is rejected then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter issued by the visa authorities. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your visa application. However, you are eligible to pay AUD 100 as an administration fee. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

  Cancellation in Case of University Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in Australia but unfortunately your application is rejected by the university, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter from the university or UCAS letter. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of their application from the university. However, you are eligible to pay AUD 100 as an administration fee. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

  Cancellation Due to Other Circumstances: If you wish to cancel the booking before checking in the property, you will be released from the contract only after providing a replacement tenant. In case, a replacement tenant is not found, you will not be released from the contract and will be liable to pay the due rent. However, bookings less than 90 days cannot be cancelled and no refund will be given.

  Cancellation within the Cooling Off Period: You can cancel your booking by sending an email directly to the accommodation team at least 30 days prior to the agreement start date.

  Cancellation after the Cooling Off Period: If you cancel your booking at Campus Perth less than 30 days before the tenancy agreement start date, you will be responsible for paying rent until a replacement tenant is found. The rent paid in advance is retained partially or in full as per the property’s discretion.

• Payment Methods: The payment method for booking accommodation in Australia is through debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers.

  
  For bookings over 90 days, a WA State Government Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) contract will be created and a payment of 6 weeks is required. The 6-week payment is made up of a 4-week deposit/bond and 2 weeks' worth of rent in advance. This will be paid via the online portal called DEFT prior to check-in and may be fully or partially refunded after your check-out and room inspection is satisfactory.

  For bookings under 90 days, a credit card is required upon check-in and a hold of AUD 200 will be taken as a guarantee against any damages or extra services. The holding amount will be released fully or partially after student check out & room inspection is satisfactory.

  Deposit: A security deposit is required to be paid by you, depending on the length of the contract. This is important to secure a booking at the property.
