Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Cancellation in Case of Visa Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in Australia but unfortunately your visa application is rejected, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter issued by the visa authorities. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your visa application. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

  Cancellation in Case of University Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in Australia but unfortunately your application is rejected by the university, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter from the university. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your application from the university. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

• CANCELLATION POLICY – MAYORAL DRIVE STUDENT ACCOMMODATION Once you have entered into an offer and acceptance agreement, you are contractually bound deemed to be in a leasing arrangement with your accommodation provider. We understand that from time-to-time issues can arise with your entry into New Zealand Cancellation without penalty is possible if: • you fail to meet student status requirement • you fail to gain lawful entry into New Zealand • you cannot enter New Zealand due to border closures or restrictions Cancellation due to: • providing false or misleading information during your application or booking process • failure to pay your bond or rent in advance • failure to sign the Residential Tenancy Agreement when required • a change of mind will result in a monetary penalty. Residential Life fee and Administration fees are not refundable, and cancelation penalties might also include some or all of your advance rental payment and/or bond payment and is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. All cancelations must be forwarded to us in writing, no less that 7 days before your contractual start date. Cancellations on or after your contractual start date will only be considered if • You have withdrawn for university, or, • There are exceptional extenuating circumstances And will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note any refundable fees will be processed within 14 days of finalisation of refund.
