Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Students can cancel their booking within a short cooling-off period after signing the tenancy agreement to receive a full refund of any fees paid. After this period, cancellations are only allowed for valid reasons such as visa refusal, failure to obtain university admission, or deferral to another city without an iQ property. For other cancellations, students remain liable for rent unless a suitable replacement tenant is found and accepted by iQ. All cancellation requests are reviewed individually, and the final decision rests with the property management. 

• To secure a room, students are required to pay a booking fee or deposit as stated in their tenancy agreement. Rent can be paid in full or in instalments, with payment schedules clearly outlined in the contract. All payments must be made through approved methods provided by iQ, and failure to pay rent on time may result in late fees or cancellation of the booking. Flexible payment options may be available upon request, subject to approval by the property management team.
