Lottery Application Deadlines
The closing date of the Lottery Application deadline is 31 March 2023 at 5 pm. Students will receive the outcome by 10 April 2023. The students who have not registered for the lottery application are recommended to seek off-campus accommodation.
Successful Lottery Applications
Students who have been successful in the application process will be informed about the next step:
- Students will get online rooms following CAO round one results
- There is a limited duration within which students will have to accept the room offers
- If students fail to accept the offer by a particular date, it will be cancelled
- Students will have to submit a deposit within a day of accepting the offer and in case of cancellation the amount is not refundable
- If you fail to submit the deposit the offer will be cancelled even if you have accepted it
- The first month’s rental fees will be due before the check-in date
Unsuccessful Lottery Applications
The students who have been unsuccessful with the lottery application are advised to proceed with the following steps:
- Students who have been unsuccessful in the application will be placed on the waiting list and are recommended to secure an accommodation off-campus
- If the cancellation is received after the CAO results, places will be offered to applicants on the waiting list based on the lottery
- Rooms can be offered throughout the year as cancellations are received around the year
- The waiting list will be in effect until the end of the academic year
- Students will only be contacted if there is an availability of a room
- There is no guarantee that the rooms will be available
