The Brewery Tap 

Founded in 1862, The Brewery Tap is a Victorian curved building which is situated on the bank of the river Derwent. Its design and infrastructure like the original wooden floors, imposing windows, victorian ceilings and exposed brickwork make it look like a traditional pub. The roof terrace overlooking the river is perfect for the summer. It offers 10 real ales on hand pull, 5 of which are their own ales while the other 5 are guest ales. Their amazing selection of wines, spirits, lagers, world beers and ciders has something for everyone. To make weekends interesting there is a pop-up kitchen arranged at The Brewery Tap House which serves delicious food to the visitors.

Great Northern Greenway 

This trail is great for activities like running, road biking and hiking also you can enjoy some sense of solitude as there are not many people that you will encounter while exploring. It is a 17.1 km out-and-back trail near Derby and is usually regarded as an easy route as it takes around 4 hrs 17 mins to complete it. If you have a pet then the good news is that this place allows the pet to come and in some areas, the pet owners can even take the leash off. 

Derby Police Museum 

Derby Police Museum has an impressive collection of police artefacts from the 1830s to modern-day equipment. To celebrate rural Derbyshire in all its glory there is a farm shop at Hackwood Farm that offers local produce of the highest quality. There is also a children’s farm located outside which has chickens, ducks, and sheep so that kids too can have fun here.

Derby Gaol 

Derby Gaols entail five gaols situated in Derby, England. Today the term gaols includes only two small tourist attractions – the cells of which still exist and are open to the public and another one which stood on Friar Gate from 1756 to 1846. Both of these are now assigned for the purpose of tourist attraction alongside a modern bar and kitchen.
