Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Cancellation for Booking Made Before May 1, 2024: If you have made your bookings before 01/05/2024 and haven’t collected the keys to your room, you can write an e-mail to us notifying the cancellation of your tenancy. After receiving your notice, the management will initiate your refund amount with no penalty charged.

  Cancellation for Booking Made on or After May 1, 2024: If your booking is made on or before 01/05/2024 and you haven’t collected the keys to your room, you will get a cooling-off period of 14 days. If you decide to cancel your booking within the cooling-off period, you can write an e-mail to us notifying the cancellation of your tenancy. After receiving your notice, the management will initiate your refund amount with no penalty charged.

  Cancellation for Booking Made for 2nd and 3rd Semester after Jan 1, 2024: You can cancel your booking for semester tenancy by writing an e-mail to us notifying the cancellation of your tenancy. Make sure that you cancel your semester tenancy within 8 weeks before the start of your agreement. After receiving your notice, the management will initiate your refund amount with no penalty charged.

  If you have not collected your key after the commencement of the tenancy and cancel your booking within 14 days (cooling-off period) by notifying us via e-mail, you will receive a refund amount with no penalty charged.

  Cancellation After the Cooling-off Period: You can request cancellation after your cooling-off period as well. You must notify the manager of the property in writing. However, you will be liable for payment of the entire payment for the duration of your tenancy until you provide us with your replacement tenant who is willing to take over.

  Cancellation in Case of Visa Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation but unfortunately your visa application is rejected, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter issued by the visa authorities. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 3 working days of receiving a rejection of your visa application along with proof. But in case, your tenancy has started, you be liable for paying the rent.

• Installments: The rent can be paid in instalments if you can provide a UK guarantor. If you don’t have a UK-based guarantor, then you will need to pay your rent in full before your arrival.

  Payment Methods: The payment method for booking accommodation in the UK is through Yugo’s secure student portal. You can use alternate options such as bank transfers with prior approval.
