Payment & Cancellation Policies

  • If you are unable to continue with the booked accommodation and must cancel it under any circumstances, you must immediately write to us by email providing the details of cancellation.

    1. Block Booking cancellations will be accepted under the sole discretion.
    2. All payments of License Tariffs due in respect of block bookings will remain payable without refund under confirmed in writing.

    In the case of Individual Bookings

    The initial payment is an Advanced Rent Payment. It will be used against rent charges once the Period of License starts.

    1. Up to 19 weeks before the commencement of the Period of License:

    i. The agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier providing a written notice of the cancellation.

    ii. No transfer of agreement fee is allowed under these circumstances. The amount paid will be returned to the Occupier.

    1. Less than 19 weeks before the commencement of the Period of License:

    i. The agreement cannot be terminated under any circumstances. The Occupier must find a Replacement Occupier to hand over the agreement.

    ii. The Current Occupier is obligated to find a Replacement Occupier.

    iii. In case the Replacement Occupier is NOT FOUND, the Current Occupier will not be released from the current agreement and will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation tariff.

    iv. In case the Replacement Occupier is found-

    • The Current Occupier will be released from the agreement on the start date of the Replacement Occupier’s agreement. The Current Occupier must pay the agreement transfer fees of £50, which will be automatically deducted from the money paid.
    • The Current Occupier will lose all the benefits and discounts at the time of booking and the refund will be calculated based on the liability for the full Occupation Tariff.
    • If the Current Occupier agrees to employ the services of an agent to find a Replacement Occupier and the Replacement Occupier is found, then the Current Occupier will be liable to pay the commission due to the agent. Any refund will be calculated based on the liability for the full Occupation Tariff.

    Cancellation due to other circumstances: 

    i. If you decide to cancel your accommodation in case of VISA REJECTION, the Current Occupier must submit a written notice of cancellation and provide proof of a declined visa. The written notice must be received no later than 14 days before the start of the Period of License.
    A transfer fee of
    £50 will be deducted and the remainder payment will be returned to the Occupier. The occupier will thus be released from the Agreement.

    ii. In case you cancel your accommodation due to the UNIVERSITY APPLICATION REJECTION, the Current Occupier must submit a written notice of cancellation and provide proof of declined university application. The written notice must be received no later than 14 days before the start of the Period of License.

    A transfer fee of £50 will be deducted and the remainder payment will be returned to the Occupier. The occupier will thus be released from the Agreement.

    1. During the Period of License

    i. The agreement cannot be terminated under any circumstances. The Occupier must find a Replacement Occupier to hand over the agreement.

    ii. The Current Occupier is obligated to find a Replacement Occupier.

    iv. In case the Replacement Occupier is found-

    • The Current Occupier will lose all the benefits and discounts at the time of booking and the refund will be calculated based on the liability for the full Occupation Tariff.
    • If the Current Occupier agrees to employ the services of an agent to find a Replacement Occupier and the Replacement Occupier is found, then the Current Occupier will be liable to pay the commission due to the agent. Any refund will be calculated based on the liability for the full Occupation Tariff.
    • High-value damages will be dealt with strictly.

    • Payment Policy

    Payment Methods: The payment method for booking accommodation in the UK is through debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers. Please note that cash and cheques will not be accepted as a payment method.

    Installments: Students can choose to pay the installments as per the payment plan that they choose. You can also choose to pay in one go.

    Advance Rent Payment: Students are required to make the advance rent payment of £200 to reserve a room. The reserve bookings will be converted to firm bookings upon receiving the advance rent payment and availability of rooms. In case the bookings are not converted into firm bookings, the agreement will be terminated immediately which will be confirmed in writing.
