Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Cancellation in Case of Visa Rejection: If you successfully secure accommodation in the UK but unfortunately your visa application is rejected, you can cancel the booking. For this, you must inform the team by writing a confirmation letter issued by the visa authorities. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your visa application. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

  Cancellation in Case of University Rejection: If you successfully secure accommodation in the UK but unfortunately your application is rejected by the university, you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter from the university or UCAS letter. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your application from the university. If you fail to do so, we will not be liable to refund the deposit.

  Cancellation within the Cooling Off Period: You can cancel your booking by sending an email directly to the accommodation team within 3 days of signing the agreement.

  Cancellation after the cooling-off period: If you decide to cancel your accommodation after 3 days of signing the agreement then you will be required to pay the full accommodation fees for the period of stay until and unless you meet the following conditions -

  • You find a replacement student who agreed to take over your tenancy. They should be acceptable to the accommodation team. (The team will make efforts to help you find a replacement to take over your tenancy but do not guarantee the same.)
  • If you agree to pay GBP 75 as a termination fee of tenancy payment
  • If you have paid all your dues which are part of your tenancy agreement or agreed in writing these can be deducted from the deposit.

• Payment Methods: The payment method for booking accommodation in the UK and Scotland is through debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers. Please note that cash and cheques will not be accepted as a payment method.

  Instalments: There are two ways in which payment can be made. If you have a UK-based/Scotland-based guarantor then you can pay the rent in either 3 or 10 instalments. On the other hand, if you do not have a UK-based guarantor/Scotland-based, then you make the payment either in full or in 2 instalments.

  Deposit: There is no security deposit or advance rent required to confirm the booking.
