Payment & Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellation in Case of Visa Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in the UK but unfortunately your visa application is rejected, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter issued by the visa authorities. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your visa application. If you fail to do so, the accommodation supplier will not be liable to refund the deposit.

Cancellation in Case of University Rejection: If you succeed in securing accommodation in the UK but unfortunately your application is rejected by the university, then you can cancel the booking. For this, you need to inform the team by writing a confirmation letter from the university or UCAS letter. Further, you will need to send a mail with properly attached documents within 24-48 hours of receiving a rejection of your application from the university. If you fail to do so, the accommodation supplier will not be liable to refund the deposit.

Cancellation within the Cooling Off Period: You can cancel your booking by sending an email directly to the accommodation team within 7 calendar days of signing the agreement. If you cancel your accommodation in these 7 calendar days, you are eligible to get a full refund of the deposit paid. The refund of your deposit will be initiated within the next 10 working days of accepting your cancellation.

Cancellation after the Cooling Off Period: If you cancel your booking of the accommodation after 7 calendar days of signing the agreement, you are not eligible for a refund of the deposit paid. However, you find a tenant to replace you, who in turn will sign the contract and pay the deposit. Once they have passed the 7 calendar-day cooling off period, you will be released from the tenancy.

For more details regarding the cancellation policy, please contact our accommodations team at [email protected] or at 1800 572 118.

  • Payment Methods: The payment method for booking accommodation in the UK is through debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers. Please note that cash and weekly rents will not be accepted for any reason. The rent must be paid before check-in at the property.

Instalments: The rent can be paid in 4-9 instalments if you can provide a UK guarantor. If you don’t have a UK-based guarantor, then you will need to pay your rent in full prior to your arrival.

Deposit: To confirm the accommodation booking in the UK, you need to pay a fixed amount of deposit. The deposit will also depend on the type of room you select, which might change due to availability. You will informed regarding this by the accommodation provider team. Please note that the property does a proper inspection after the end of the tenancy period. If there are any damages to the property, some amount might be deducted from the deposit money and in some cases, no amount is refunded.
