Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Cooling-Off Period

  • Before 31st July 2025: A 5-day cooling-off period applies after signing. Occupation during this period makes the agreement binding immediately.
  • On or After 1st August 2025: No cooling-off period; the agreement is binding upon signature.

  Cancellation Within Cooling-Off Period

  • Tenants can cancel by written notice during the cooling-off period and receive a full rent refund to the original payment account.

  Cancellation After Cooling-Off Period

  • Tenants remain liable for the full tenancy unless they provide proof of specific conditions (e.g., failed academic requirements, visa denial, or relocation to a city without applicable accommodation). Proof must be submitted by 22nd August 2025.

  Replacement Tenant Policy

  • Before Occupation: The landlord may cancel if the tenant finds a replacement, subject to discretion and possible fees.
  • After Occupation: The tenant must organise a replacement and remains liable for rent until the replacement signs and fulfills their obligations.

  Procedure

  • Cancellation requests, with supporting evidence, must be sent to [email protected]
  • Proof of eligibility for cancellation must be provided within 48 hours of the change and no later than 22nd August 2025.

• Payment Methods: Accommodation bookings in the UK can be paid using debit cards, credit cards, or bank transfers. Please note that cash and cheques are not accepted.

  Instalments: To secure your accommodation, you are required to provide a UK-based guarantor. Rent payments can be made on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the agreed-upon payment schedule.

  Deposit: There is no deposit required to secure your booking. You can confirm your accommodation without any upfront deposit payment, making the process simpler and more accessible.
